  1. This archive contains the sources for ddate(1), the enhanced Discordian date
  2. program, as well as a manual page, a Makefile, a precompiled binary for
  3. Linux (in the Erisian Liberation Front binary format, of course) and this
  4. README file.

  6. You may well want to recompile this program; if that is the case, you
  7. would do well to look at the configuration options in ddate.c. Reasons
  8. for recompiling it would include wanting to specify Gregorian date in the
  9. US (M-D-Y) format as opposed to the Commonwealth (D-M-Y) format, not wanting
  10. to have anything to do with the Church of the SubGenius or its memes or
  11. simply wanting to hack the program to do something completely different.
